In 2003, Nicky Dobree, an international award-winning interior designer, converted a 300 year old alpine farmhouse for a television show airing in 2004.  British audiences watch the highs and lows of the design process on the show Grand Designs Abroad as Nicky used her considerable talents to create what Kevin McCloud called the “ultimate James Bond pad.”  After the show’s success, Dobree was approached by Descent International, a luxury hotel group which caters to high net worth individuals, to add to their portfolio—in 2005, Ferme de Moudon was born.
