Sandra draws inspiration from her extensive travels to South America, Northern Africa, Europe and Asia, as well as her experiences living in several countries throughout the world. By immersing herself in the culture and traditions of each visited destination, she infuses her designs with unique, creative and striking flair. Her search around the globe brings together rare and unique pieces form the world’s finest artisans that will transform any home into a uniquely distinctive retreat. The flip flopped, globe trotting, shop-a-holic, citizen of the world is constantly looking for new avenues to follow and for innovative combinations of design elements to share with the world.
An accomplished interior designer and allied member of the American Society of Interior Designers, Sandra Espinet received her Associate of Arts Degree in Interior Design from the New England School of Design in Boston. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Interior Design from the American College of Art in Atlanta and a Masters Degree in Production Design from the American Film Institute in Los Angeles.
Since 2000, Sandra has been living in the coastal town of San Jose Del Cabo, Mexico, where she owns and operates S.E. Design Services, an elite, full-service high end residential design studio catering to luxury residential projects.
Sandra Espinet’s work has been celebrated in interior design books such as “Houses by the Sea.” And numerous magazines around the world such as Architectural Digest and China Décor. She has appeared in may HGTV television design shows and has received numerous awards for her work. Her book “ The Well Traveled Home” came out in July 2013.
